Fresh, seasonal, affordable meals — built around what's grown in Lincolnshire each month. Better for your health, your budget and the planet.
The Lincoln Diet is a community food project built on a simple idea: eating what's grown nearby, in season, is better for you, better for your wallet and better for the planet.
Every month, we bring together the vegetables and fruit in season in Lincolnshire with simple, healthy recipes that any family can cook. Our approach is guided by the Planetary Health Diet — the EAT-Lancet Commission's evidence-based framework for eating well and living sustainably.
We are not asking people to become vegan for ethical reasons. We are simply saying that eating more plants, more of the time, using what is grown locally and in season, is one of the most powerful things any of us can do for our health and for the health of the planet.
